What this record is

Wasitever watches exact retailer offers — one record per exact tool, kit, or bundle, per retailer, per channel — and keeps what it witnesses. A “was” price on any page here is our own recorded observation, dated, never the retailer’s asserted original. Where the retailer asserts a reference price, we store their claim and check it against the record; the two are always labeled apart.

Coverage today

9,427 Milwaukee tools at Home Depot, online national channel, checked up to six times a day. The point-by-point record runs since Aug 15 2026, with 59,581 witnessed price-days so far. One retailer is one retailer: a claim verified here is verified against this record’s scope, and each page’s coverage panel states that scope exactly.

Evidence classes

Every observation carries its class. Class A — retained complete observations from the archive. Class C — the new longitudinal record, accruing daily. Class B — durable summary facts (a dated high or low): real witnessed marks that render as dated points, never as a curve, and never count as price-days.

Gaps are shown, not smoothed

A day with no observation is a gap, drawn as a gap. No line crosses one, no state change is inferred across one, and a run that failed or was cut short is recorded as exactly that — an incomplete batch is never read as “the price disappeared.”

What a page may claim, and when

A verdict must be earned by the record behind it. Below seven price-days spanning fourteen calendar days, a page shows the record and says only “watched since” — no verdict. From seven price-days over fourteen days, a page may carry a measured verdict against its 90-day reference. Deeper claims (“among the lowest 10% of prices we’ve witnessed”) require at least thirty price-days. Long-horizon claims wait for a year of continuous record.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, the page says so where the error stood: the correction shows the old value, the new value, the date, and the cause. Corrections are never silently overwritten.

Independence

No one can pay for placement here. Deals appear because the record says they’re real, in price order, and for no other reason. Retailers are ordered by price — never by what they pay us. Some links earn this site a commission; the order and the verdicts don’t know which. No app, no subscription, no paywall.
